DESCRIPTION:If you are a middle or high school teacher interested in cybersecurity\, come join UCCS and learn about how to bring cybersecurity into your classroom. Prior computing and/or cybersecurity experience recommended. This advanced GenCyber teacher camp funded by NSA will provide you with an understanding of the Cybersecurity Principles and meet the goals outlined below. Camp is limited to 16 participants\, so apply now!\nAPPLICATIONS close 27 March 2022 at midnight MST\nParticipants will be notified of their acceptance by 9 April 2022.\nThe GenCyber camp will be held 20-24 June 2022\, 8:45am – 3:45pm at the UCCS campus.\nLed by Dr. Joshua Alcorn\, UCCS cybersecurity professor\, and Terri Johnson\, a local teacher and pioneer in cybersecurity secondary education\, you will be shown hands-on tools & information for use in your high school classroom.
